BI for inspection
During the QRM, it was decided to make BI ( similar to Marketing) for inspection so that equipment health and failure analysis can be done on continuous basis. We are in the process of developing the BI application for all the activities related to inspection. It is necessary to implement all modules of PMMS in all units. Also we want to fetch data from Laboratory management system, DCS and vibration monitoring system. One way communication system will be required to fetch data from DCS as done in Kalol. It will be necessary to contact DCS to push data related to equipment health. Also please contact other suppliers so that on line data are available. Also kindly suggest modifications required in the PMMS software so that more data can be entered. Observation on PMMS are as under.
Units are not utilizing PMMS completely and data entry is not being done in proper manner.
Equipment History is also not being maintained properly.
Lubrication and PM Schedule data is not being entered in the system.
It is requested that units should implement this software fully and maintain the following information in the PMMS:
Daily Logbook Entry along with Spares Consumption, Executed Manpower details and external agency details so that proper costing of expenditure can be captured and analyzed.
Equipment History along with entry of Symptom, Defect and Remedy selection so that "Cause Defect Analysis" can be performed.
Lubrication and Preventive Maintenance Schedule along with its frequency for each and every critical equipment.
Inspection Module of PMMS to capture all data of the equipment pertaining to different tests.
PMMS Utilization status is attached for the information of Units.
PMMS Utilisation Status of 2017.pdf
