Subject: 22nd ANNUAL WORLD CHILDREN PICTURE CONTEST 2014

IE-NO-HIKARI ASSOCIATION, Japan, is organising the 22nd annual world children's picture contest with a view to awaken children's interest in cooperative movement. It has been decided to send entries from the children of IFFCO employees. The contest details are as under:

ELIGIBILITY:
The children in the age group 6-15 are eligible to participate.

THEME
The theme of the artwork should be one of the following:
1. Agriculture
2. Farming Area
3. Nature
4. Environment
5. Local people
6. Family

RULES FOR PICTURE:
The size of picture must be less than 728 mm x 515 mm x 3 mm. Any material or method can be used for painting.

Please circulate the contest details to all the employees inviting applications from the interested children of employees for participation in the contest. The contest may be held at your Unit/Zone/State/Area office at any convenient date & time before 15th August, 2014 for 1-1/2 to 2 hours duration.

The participants should be provided the drawing sheet only.

A Screening Committee may be formed by the Unit Head/Zonal Head for selection of suitable artwork which can be sent to Japan. The pictures so selected should be forwarded to the undersigned by 22nd August, 2014 for onward transmission. There is, however, no limit as to the number of entries to be sent to HO.

The Form-I appended herewith may be filled up by each contestant with black pen in English (block letters) and pasted on the bottom right of the back of the artwork/picture.

The pictures received from all the Units/Zones will be further judged by the Screening Committee in HO before sending the same to IE-NO-HIKARI ASSOCIATION at Japan.
