It will be observed that the response from your Unit is very less compared to previous years.

The HR Deptt. may therefore be requested to intensely publicise the Contest among all the employees through emails, posters, circulars etc. and encourage them to participate in large number, particularly the young ones.

Director (HR&L) felt that there should be a participation of minimum 30-35 teams from each Unit in the Preliminary Round.

The last date for online registration is 5th November, 2017.

There will be fabulous prizes in the Preliminary as well as Final Rounds.

Subject: IFFCO QUIZATHON 2017


HRD Department is pleased to announce the conduct of its most happening event - 7th ALL INDIA IFFCO INTER-UNIT BUSINESS QUIZ CONTEST 2017 to test the business IQ of employees and reward them for breaching past records and setting new standards.

The quiz will be held in an atmosphere of fun and infotainment in a healthy spirit of competition and will give realistic and enjoyable learning experience to the participants.

FORMAT:
The contest will be held in two stages:

1) Preliminary Round at respective Units;
2) Grand Finale at Phulpur Unit.

The Preliminary round will comprise of i) off-stage screening test consisting of 15-20 questions followed by; ii) on-stage pre-final event at each Unit.

The questions will include trends & concepts in business, economic scenario, business environment, general awareness, technological development as well as about the current and future activities of IFFCO.

GRAND FINALE AT PHULPUR UNIT29th NOVEMBER, 2017 (EVENING HRS)

Quizmaster from New Delhi will conduct the preliminary and final contests at all the locations except the Marketing Field Offices where the preliminary round contest will be held through a written test at State and Areas Offices.

ELIGIBILITY:
All employees of IFFCO are eligible to participate in the quiz irrespective of grade or age. It is, however, mandatory for all the direct recruits in the officer grade like GETs/MTs/HR Trainees etc. as well as all AGTs who are in the age group of 40 years & below to compulsorily participate in the preliminary round.

PARTICIPATION AS A TEAM:
The employees will participate as a team consisting of two persons in the preliminary as well as the Grand Finale. They can also participate in individual capacity if they are unable to find team-mate.
The marketing field participants will, however, participate in individual capacity in the preliminary round and based on the result of this round team will be formed to represent Marketing Field in the FINAL ROUND.

PRIZES:
The winners of the FINAL ROUND will not only receive fabulous prizes and appreciation, they will also get an opportunity to represent IFFCO in national and international level quiz competitions organised by Economic Times, NHRDN, Tata Crucible, AIMA etc.

The HR Department at Units/Marketing Offices are requested to circulate this announcement through email among all the employees. A copy of circular should also be displayed at prominent places within the office premises as well as the Township/Hospital/Welfare Centres/Shopping Area etc in case of Units.
