What is Ransomware:

A type of malware/virus that prevents or limits users from accessing their system, either by locking the system's screen or by locking the users' files . It basically encrypts all the files in your machine and will not allow them to open. The recent Ransomware attack has affected millions of machines worldwide including India.

How to prevent :

1. Do not open any mail or attachment from any unknown source. i.e any .exe file or any zip file.
2. Simply delete the mail which you do not know any credentials . Just do not open.
3. While browsing Internet , just do not click randomly on kind of link . Click only if you think it is appropriate.
4. Do not put any of your file folder in sharing mode. Sharing folder is too dangerous. It will make your machine a easy victim for such attack.
5. In case of any kind of suspicion contact us.
