Citing a recent fraud email in the name of MD, sent to Sr.ED (F&A) seeking fund transfer, MD asked all participants to be vigilant in handling / processing such emails and re-check the email address and confirm by calling the concerned official, in cases email seeking urgent fund transfer request.
ED (Comm.) also highlighted about cases of e-mails, pretending to be vendors, requesting change in IFSC Code against a registered bank account.
GM (ITS) asked users to notify IT department about such emails, so that the mail IDs and the IPs can be blocked from our servers.
All Users were asked to exercise caution in such fraud email cases and sensitize the people working under them.
Action: All Unit Heads / All SMMs
It is requested to provide the action taken report on above point by 27.02.2019 for compilation and onward submission of same to HO.
