CIRCULAR

We are going for a mass vaccination for Japanese encephalitis (JE) for children between age group of 01 – 15 years as per the instruction of CDMO and Health officer, Jagatsinghpur. The vaccination programme will be undertaken at DAV School, IFFCO Paradeep unit on 11.11.19 . As per strategy of JE vaccination in India, this is one time mass campaign, targeting all children of age group 1 – 15 years in the JE endemic districts. School going children will be vaccinated in school on 11/11/2019 and non-school going children will be vaccinated at the hospital for which the date will be announced later following school programme.

Children who cannot take this vaccine:-

1. High fever

2. Malnourished child

3. Acute infections

4. Liver, kidney and heart problems

5. H/o allergy to any vaccine

6. Epilepsy/convulsion

7. Child undergoing immunosuppressive therapy.

Any parents/guardians having any doubts, can come to Hospital and discuss.
