USERS' FILE BACKUP PROCEDURE*

Dear All,

A new File Backup Server having larger capacity has been installed in Systems Dept. . Pls. follow the procedures given below to keep backup of your important local files. Existing files in the old server have been transferred to the new machine.

1> Go to "Run" or "Search Program & files" after clicking start button in Windows .
2> Type \\backup_server,press enter button .
3> user name: p(pc no.) ,ex- if PC no. is 400 the type p400 .
4> default password: p@(pc no.) ,ex.- if if PC no. is 400 then type p@400 .
5> Go to folder name p(your pc no) ,ex.- if if PC no. is 400 then go to p400 .

N.B.- Space limit - 2 GB , only document files ( word,excel,ppt,pdf,image ) can be copied in the folder.
