USER DATA BACKUP*

All concerned are requested to keep backup of their important files which they have in their PC as per the procedure given below. This should be done frequently to avoid any data loss.

Step 1 : Go to Start > Run and type \\backup_server (As given in the screen shot) . Click OK button

Step 2 : You will be prompted for user id & password. Give your user login name eg. p200 & password as <password> and click OK.

Step 3 : The backup folders will open . Double clik on your respective folder i.e p200 in this case .

Step 4 : Copy all your important files into this folder

SPACE LIMIT is 1 GB for each user.

Note : Default password may be changed by Systems on users request.

In case of any problem pls. contact our HELPDESK at 4891 (Plant) / 5891 (New Admin) .

Pls. note that this is an important procedure and may save your vital data in case of complete hard disc failure.
