In the current competitive environment, pandemic and numerous other challenges, complacency is a biggest threat to any organisation and the only thing which is critical for the survival and growth of any business is its ability to innovate with regard to its products, services, processes, procedures and systems.. Our Hon'ble M.D. has also given special emphasis on generating new and innovative ideas for enhancing productivity and efficiency of employees as well as the organisation.
We in IFFCO are facing lot of challenges and to retain our leadership position, it is necessary to focus on reducing cost, minimizing waste, observe safety, improve reliability, eliminate accident, reduce maintenance cost & time, besides pruning and eliminating unwanted processes, procedures and systems some of which may have become redundant over a period of time and cause avoidable delays.
In the light of above, it is high time that we should think and act frugally in our day-to-day working with the objective to do better with less. This is possible only with the voluntary participation and alignment of all the employees in contributing their innovative and creative ideas. Sometimes even a tiny idea may prove to be a stepping stone that would eventually lead to big idea.
Under the prevailing situation, we may have some time to ponder over the areas which may lead to increase in productivity, effectiveness and ultimately profitability of IFFCO.
I would, therefore, urge all of you to gear up and contribute your bright ideas, big or small, with the following broad Guidelines in mind :
