Earth Day, celebrated annually on 22 April, will again see more than a billion people participating in activities around the world to draw attention to the urgency of the climate crisis and environmental degradation and the need for immediate action.
We, in our township, may give small contribution to this effort. Accordingly all the lights in different parks in township, back side of IRC (Club), Fountains, Administration bldg. park, temple park shall be kept “OFF” from 0.800 PM to 09.00 PM on 22nd’Apr.
Voluntarily we may reduce electricity consumption in our houses during this period and practice it day to day also.
