We have received the following message from HO, for information of all:

In pursuit of computerization another Workflow application for Sanctioning of Overtime Claims has been developed in HRMS.

The workflow application for sanction of Overtime shall be initiated by Sectional Head online and send it online to HOD for sanction which is limited up to 16 hours. The System will automatically calculate total hours of OT of the employee concerned in a month and If it exceeds 16 hours he may forward it to Unit Head online for approval.

Once Overtime is approved by the Sanctioning Authority it will reflect in Time Office Module in HRMS . The Time Office user will accept and after its acceptance payment will be automatically made in Salary in due course.

The Recommending /Sanctioning authorities will be able to Recommend/Sanction on Mobile devices also.

Thus the Overtime Sanctioning process will be fully online and it will save time.

This is being implemented w.e.f. 16.8.2016.
