BARRACUDA BACKUP SOLUTION
*
Deptt./Section:
System
*
Never Expired :
Yes
'Barracuda Backup Solution' was implemented in March-2018 in Paradeep and a folder named 'Barracuda' was created in almost all PCs with the objective of keeping backup in Barracuda Server. A schedule has also been defined to take backup of each PC on alternate days. Users had kept their important folders and files in this 'Barracuda' folder initially during implementation, which had been gone into the backup server. Now it has been observed that new and updated files/folders are not being kept in 'Barracuda' folder in their respective PC & hence backup is not happening for these new files/folders. This is a reminder to all concerned to
regularly keep their new & updated files/folders
in the 'Barracuda' folder so that those files/folders go to backup server as per pre-defined schedule. This will go a long way in restoring precious data in case of data loss.
For any further assistance, may please call FM/AMC team on 4891/5891.
