Goods & Services Tax (GST) has been implemented w.e.f. 01.07.2017 by Govt. of India. Under the provisions of this Tax, payment of Medical bills (Hospitalisation) should be paid by the concerned Units directly to the hospital against the treatment of their employees even if the treatment is taken outside place of posting. Hence, It is advised that all medical bills may be processed and paid to the hospital by the concerned Units/Divisions and no Inter Unit payment advises in this regard will be issued.
