IFFDC Won The Prestigious "Times Social Impact Award" in Environment Category

10th March, 2015; New Delhi: IFFCO's subsidiary Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd. added a feather in its cap for its services for rural masses & cooperatives when IFFDC grabbed the esteemed Times Social Impact Award-2015 in Environment Category.
It was a tough competition where it was competing in corporate category with ONergy & Piramal Water Pvt Ltd. It is noticeable that IFFDC have revived around 26,000 ha of salt-affected land, ravines and water logged lands in UP & other parts of the country.
The final names were decided by a high profile jury including Aamir Khan, Sunita Narain, Naresh Chandra, K V Kamath, Suresh Prabhu & Aruna Roy. Its interesting to know that the same was acknowledged by IFFCO and various teams at HO, Plants & Marketing zones inspired each other to go social online. IFFDC got 1649 likes against 1170 & 883 of its competitors. IFFDC also won the award in its inception year.
