BI for Plant Maintenance and Inspection : VC at 2 PM today *

New BI Application for Plant Maintenance and Inspection is being developed. For any BI tool, data is the primary requirement. It has been decided that initially 5 yrs data should be populated in the main PMMS system. But we intend to have the data for last 10 years for more meaningful analysis . Minute level maintenance specific data of Critical Equipment's of Plant is to be maintained in the PMMS. BI will fetch the data from PMMS, so engineers should fill the data on routine basis for proper analysis.

We are also planning to interface the data being generated from the DCS and Vibration Monitoring Tools installed at Plant level. Units are requested to coordinate with the OEMs for interfacing the data. Unit IT Services will help the users and OEMs. Data of casing/shaft vibration data , as well as bearing metal temperature of critical rotating machines from DCS and more parameter may be planned.

It is also advised that a team comprising of various stake holders can be made at Unit Level to complete the task in a time bound manner.

A VC has been planned tomorrow i.e 11/1/18 @2.00 PM where demo of the software will be given by Phulpur Unit. All the PMMS users and IT person from each unit should participate in the demo and get their doubts clarified.
