Circular Title:

New Programme for Circulars/Notice Published in Paradeep Unit*

Deptt./Section:

System* Never Expired : Yes

Dear IT users of IFFCO Paradeep,

Presently we are circulating the circulars/notice to users Paradeep through e-mail which chokes /slows down the network traffic. It unnecessary builds the database in server. Such circulars/notice are available to e-mail users only and if we delete it, we can not retrieve it back. Searching the old circular/notice is also difficult.

In view of the above difficulties we have developed a programme in Lotus Notes that has following benefits:-

Benefit of this programme : -

1. The circulars/notice can be made available to e-mail account holder as well as non-account holders alike. Hence wider range of coverage.
2. The data (circular/notice) will be stored in a single and centralized server.
3. No need to have e-mail facility, if a PC is connected with our network, the circular can be accessed through Internet-explorer.
4. Circular can be seen in Date-wise, Author-Wise, Section- wise and sorting can be done in any order eg. date, title etc.
5. New Circular/Notice can be submitted by any one of IFFCO Paradeep users who have the e-mail
( Lotus Notes R6.5 or above) facility.
6. Circular once submitted can not be modified or deleted (for security and authenticity of the circular). However the user have the choice to make "Never Expiried" option "Yes" to expire the circulars after predefined date, and it will be deleted automaticaly on due date.
7. A button "Submit & Inform to users" is given for prompt alert, by pressing this button the circular will be submitted as well as a information for "New Circular" and " link file " will be sent to all e-mail users in Paradeep unit. So users can know that there is a new circular published and by clicking the link they can view the circular. If you do not want to intimate the users you can submit it by pressing "Submit (No Alert e-mail)" button.
8. Circular may be directly typed, copy-paste, as a attachments or combination of all. (the procedure is same as in e-mail) .
9. It will support all the languages/fonts which are supported by your Lotus Notes.
10. This circular is for IFFCO Paradeep users only.
