Precautions during preparation of Service Receipt Voucher in ERP*

It is observed that inspite of entering tolerance in the Work Order, Indentors are not able to prepare SRV in some cases.
To elaborate, consider the following case for a particular line;

PO quantity = 100 ; Tolerance = 10 % => Hence, indentor can receive upto 110 quantities.

But, if the entire quantity of 100 is received, then that particular line will be marked as closed for further receiving i.e. further SRV can’t be created to utilize the tolerance quantity.

Solution:
When there is anticipation of receiving more than the ordered quantity upto the tolerance quantity / preparation of OSL SRV, it is advised that;
A minimal quantity may be left as balance, instead of receiving the entire balance quantity.
Example:- SRV quantity = 99 ; Balance = 1 => Hence, indentor can receive the balance upto 11 quantities if required.[Assuming tolerance of 10% for a Line quantity of 100]
