DR-Drill: Downtime from 4:00 PM to 7.30 PM at Mumbai Datacenter on 26-May-24(Sunday)

DR-Drill activity will be carried out tomorrow by H.O. & Plant IT Teams for Business Applications hosted at Mumbai Datacenter. Applications including DESPATCH, PHAST, EIS, HRMS, PMMS, HME will remain down tomorrow (Sunday) i.e. 26-May-24 from 4:00 PM to 07:30 PM and ERP will remain down from 4:00 PM to 09:00 PM. However, Email, Internet and Applications hosted at Plant-Cloud Server like Production Reporting System, Lab Analysis Reporting System will be available to all users. With Regards, --------------------- G.Sivashankar DGM (IT Services) Ph: 4884 ; M-9937294601 **** Received following message from IT Services, Head Office: **** It has decided to conduct the DR-Drill in a guided and controlled manner for all our Corporate / Global and EBS Production Business Applications on 26-May-2024, from 4.00 PM to 9.00 PM. During the DR-Drill the Databases and all the Business Applications hosted at Mumbai Data Centre will be stopped and will be made live from DR-Site at Hyderabad. These Applications will be accessed by IT users from the DR-Site. Business application owner from IT will make the transaction entries at the DR - Site and will verify the Correctness of the data at Our Mumbai Datacentre after the DR- Drill is completed. The purpose of the DR-Drill is to test the Business Continuity of the Business Applications by performing the Switch-Over and Switch-Back of the Data. DR DRILL SCHEDULE: The Maximum DR-Drill duration downtime including Switchover, Drill Window and Switchback for Legacy Applications will be 3.5 Hours (Date 26-May-2024, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM), and 6 Hours, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM, for EBS Applications. During this DR-Drill, Business applications shall not accessible for End Users.
